As的标准处理流程：

第一种办法：靠语感，读过去!你觉得是什么意思就是什么意思。

“像;如同:作为;当作:像…一样;随着:因为;由于:正如;如同:尽管;虽然;即使与…相对照;和…相比较: 至于;关于，似乎;好像;彷佛”

等一系列的意思中的一种。

适用范围：非答案来源句，不需要读的非常准确的句子。

第二种办法：认真分析!

适用范围：答案来源句，需要读的非常准确的句子。

方法：判断词性，确定含义和处理手法;

1.介词：像;如同; 作为;当作:

1)The bomb was disguised as a package.

炸弹被伪装的像一个包裹。

2) You can use that glass as a vase.

你可以把那个玻璃杯当作花瓶用。

判断方法：名词前的as 可以判断为介词;

2.副词：像…一样,如同;正如(强调)

1) You're as tall as your father.

你和你父亲一样高。

2 ) She doesn't play as well as her sister.

她演奏得不如她姐姐。

判断方法：形容词前或者副词前的as 就是副词

3.连词：1)随着: =因为;由于 (这里根据语境怎么翻译都可以)

As you were out, I left a message.

你不在,所以我留了一张字条儿。

As she grew older she gained in confidence.

随着年龄的增长她的信心增强了。

判断方法：as后面加上完整的句子

2) 尽管;虽然;即使

Happy as they were, there was something missing.

尽管他们很快乐,但总缺少点什么。

Simple as the picture is ,the meaning behind it is as deep as ocean.

尽管图画很简单，但是其背后的含义却很深刻。

Try as he might, he couldn't open the door.

他想尽了办法也没能打开门。

判断方法：as 加的句子形容词或动词放到了句首;

4.代词：不翻译，as 就是在链接两个句子。我们找到指代对象(通常就近指代，而且要记住常指代前面的宾语从句)独立成句，再根据句间关系加上连接词。

She's very tall, as is her mother.

她个子很高,她妈妈个子也很高。

JPP thinks Aman is less handsome, as kevin thinks.

蒋胖胖认为一男不帅，凯文也认为一男不帅。

JPP doesn’t think Aman is handsome, as kevin thinks.

蒋胖胖不认为一男帅，但凯文认为一男帅。

(指代前面的宾语从句!)

判断方法：as 加的句子是主干不完整的句子。(缺主语或宾语或表语;)

必须记住的短语：

▪ as against sth

与…相对照;和…相比较:

They got 27% of the vote as against 32% at the last election.

这次选举他们得了 27% 的票,而上次他们得了 32%。

▪ ˌas and 'when

(用于在特定条件下才会发生的事情)将来…时,到时候:

We'll decide on the team as and when we qualify.

将来我们具备了条件时就会决定成立这个队。

▪ as for sb / sth

至于;关于

As for Jo, she's doing fine.

至于乔,她现在日子过得不错。

▪ as if / as though

似乎;好像;彷佛:

He behaved as if nothing had happened.

他表现得若无其事。

▪ ˌas it 'is

照现状:

We were hoping to finish it by next week—as it is, it may be the week after.

我们本希望在下周完成——看样子可能要下下周才行。

▪ as it 'were

可以说;在一定程度上:

Teachers must put the brakes on, as it were, when they notice students looking puzzled.

当老师发现学生神色茫然时,就应该在一定程度上放慢速度。

▪ as to sth | as regards sth

关于;至于:

As to tax, that will be deducted from your salary.

至于税款,将从你薪水中扣除。

切分：

参考译文：由于无法用英国退欧的胡萝卜来拉拢自己的老选民，英国独立党的最后宣言的重点是通过更明确地阐明一个反穆斯林议程来吸收最顽固的反移民情绪。(获得这些反移民群体的支持。)

这个题目解题的关键是第二句：

现在他在将自己重塑为一个极端的反移民政党。

所以第三句对于反移民的情绪他就不可能是：

(B) remove (去除) (C) clean (清除) (D) wash (洗掉)

(而且这三个选项的意思基本一致的，可以直接同时排除啊!)

他们一定会去吸收反移民的情绪，这样才符合他们重塑自己为反移民政党的目标啊!答案只能是A
