这个世界没有绝对的公平，虽然我们在不断地追求公平。地域的歧视，性别的歧视，种族的歧视，相貌的歧视甚至姓名排序的歧视在美国都被人们反复的讨论并谴责过了。但是人们对于智商的看法却很统一，聪明人四处炫耀优越感。娱乐节目的段子都是在挖苦和嘲笑那些笨的人。人们都喜欢聪明人，大学录取要录取聪明人，招聘的时候都要招聘聪明人，而且大家都不认为这样做是一种歧视。有谁愿意天生就智商不高呢?他们也没得选啊?这个世界就不能对智商不高的人友好一点吗?就不能关爱他们多一点吗?而且最可笑的是，其实这个世界聪明人只是少数啊!大多数的人智商都很一般，但是大家都愿意装作很聪明的样子，然后被真正聪明的人摆布，目的就是为了避免不要被人嘲笑自己笨。于是这个世界往往就是让那些少数的聪明人过得很爽，大家都是在陪着他们玩，而我们所得到的就仅仅是可以不被人嘲笑是笨人。我们必须停止美化智商，停止把这个世界当做是少数聪明人的游乐场了!(We must stop glorifying intelligence and treating our society as a playground for the smart minority. ) 聪明的人有充分的权利去利用他们的天赋。(Smart people should feel entitled to make the most of their gift.)但他们不应该被允许重塑社会，从而使天赋成为衡量人类价值的普遍尺度。(But they should not be permitted to reshape society so as to use giftedness as a universal yardstick of human worth.)
